Terms of Service
Effective August 20, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Deuron (“the Service”), an AI-assisted tutoring application. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child profile you add.
2. Who can use Deuron
Deuron is operated by and for parents or legal guardians. You must be an adult legally able to enter into this agreement, and you are responsible for any child profile created under your account. Children use the Service only under a parent or guardian's account and supervision — Deuron does not knowingly collect account credentials or payment information directly from children.
Households. An account holder (the household owner) may invite one additional parent or guardian to join their household with a separate login. Household members share access to the same child profiles, sessions, and progress. Consent to data processing given by either household parent applies on behalf of the household. The ability to delete a child's data or the account remains with the household owner. By inviting a member, the owner confirms that person is a parent or legal guardian of the children in the household.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding access to your account, including any Parent Mode PIN you set. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise systematically extract content, questions, curriculum data, or other material from the Service by automated means;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, prompts, or models behind the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to create accounts, generate traffic, or interact with the Service in a way a human user would not;
- Copy, reproduce, mirror, or create a derivative product substantially based on the Service's design, content, or functionality;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, security features, or access controls;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide third-party access to the Service without our written consent;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it.
5. Cost of the Service
Deuron is provided free of charge for families learning at home. There is no trial period, no session allowance, and no payment method is requested or required. The Service is licensed for personal family use — not for classrooms, tutoring businesses, or co-ops (see section 4).
If paid plans are ever introduced, nothing will be charged without your explicit enrollment: you would be notified in advance, and no payment could occur unless you deliberately signed up for a paid plan and provided a payment method. Continuing to use the free Service will never, by itself, create a charge.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, curriculum content, questions, and underlying adaptive-learning logic, is owned by Deuron and its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your family's own learning purposes — nothing here transfers ownership of the Service or its content to you.
7. Your child's data
Learning records are never sold. The household owner can request deletion of a child's learning history, or the entire account and all associated data, at any time from Account settings. Consent to processing a child's learning data may be given by either household parent and covers the household.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Deuron is a supplementary learning tool and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deuron is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions in Section 4.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
